Thinking of adding a Labrador to your family? Here are some things you should consider: Country of Origin: England.
Size: Shoulder height: 54 - 57 cm (21.25 - 22.5 inches).
Coat: Thick and dense and weather-resistant. Can be black, yellow or chocolate brown. A small white marking on the chest is permissible.
Character: This breed is obedient, sociable, affectionate, and loyal. They have a very keen sense of smell.
Temperament: This dog gets along well with children, other dogs, and any household pets. They are not great watchdogs.
Care: Brush the coat once a week, twice weekly if the dog is shedding.
Training: The Labrador Retriever learns very quickly and loves to work for its handler.
Activity: Although they will adapt to the exercise habits of your family, Labrador Retrievers need plenty of exercise. They need to be taken on long walks, and especially love to take part in field sports.
Note: English Labs are not as active as most field bred

Portrait is her 1st birthday!
Misty is one of our pups we bred and she is doing great in breed and obedience. She received her first Champion point along with an obedience RN title at 7 months old. Misty was a year old in August and is off to a great start!
This is our new little man "Dealer"
We are so happy his breeders Julie and Shannon at Shadowmyst let him join our family!

This beautiful girl is our Honey. She is 4 years old and the Queen Bee around here.
Honey is now retired from breeding,
but still likes to hunt train, run hunt test and show in obedience.
This is Savanna, she is a 3 year old that looks white but is still considered a yellow.
(There is no such thing as a white lab).
Labs are black no silver, yellow and can range from white to fox red or chocolate can be light to dark.
Last is Ernie, everyone loves him, he is our 13 year old and the best friend to every kid and puppy he meets!
