The best Christmas present ever!
Our Savanna has a new family.
She is a companion for a special little girl and her siblings.
Please take a minute to read this special story below.
Sometimes God's plan puts people together for a reason, a few things had happen before this day that were not planned but when I delivered Savanna to this family I knew all that had happened had been part of a greater plan and I want to share the best moment.
When I pulled into the driveway mom had just returned home and had a red ribbon in the car for Savanna. We put it on her, then I walked Savanna to the front door and rang the bell. The kids did not know they were getting Savanna for Christmas. Well let me tell you, the reactions and looks on their children faces was priceless. One daughter started shaking with joy and at the same time the other grabbed her father gave him big huge and thanked him. At that point, I was overwhelmed and was brought to tears. I knew my meeting with this family was not just coincidental and we both received a special gift . This was a blessing, I am so grateful to be able to share Savanna with this family. She is doing very well with the kids and even the older dog likes her.
I love training, running hunt test and showing off my dogs but the joy on a child's face when they get a new puppy or older dog in the case of Savanna, is why I love breeding and doing what I do. That feeling is truly one of the best feelings and only second to the birth of a child, to some of my clients it is their child. I am so grateful I can bring such joy to a family!
Savanna has also passed her sweet temperament on to her offspring. One of her male pups from her last litter with Graham went to a family with a special child and his siblings. Savanna will come home and be bred to Riggo for her 3rd and last breeding and the children will get to share in the experience. After the pups are weaned Savanna will return to her family where she will retire and have wonderful life.
