About the Programs

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy® is the puppy level of Canine Good Citizen® (CGC). AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is designed to provide dog owners and their puppies with a great start in training. With more advanced skills than AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, CGC rewards dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. The Hartford is a proud sponsor of the CGC and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy programs.

We are a small Home Breeder of Yellow, Black and Chocolate Labrador Retrievers. Our girls are bred to English Sires with Champion Pedigrees and we are adding more Hunting Titles to our lines. We love working with our dogs, running Hunt Test, Showing Conformation, Obedience and Rally. All our dogs and the sires we use are tested for genetic health clearances on hips, elbows, Cerf., PRA,  EIC and CNM.  Our goal is breading healthy well rounded pups that are intelligent, have wonderful temperaments, can hunt, show in all venues and make a great addition to any family.
